Seen on Cspan today. Soldier disses king george.

Read the article. This is a young man who led a platoon in afghanistan and iraq. He had a lot to say about his troops, but one thing stood out.

During his talk to a bookstore audience he was discussing how the troops feel about our gov't leadership.

I was staggered and I think this slipped out inadvertantly, but he said: "I have no respect for Bush". I think that is a direct quote as best I can remember it, if not it at least captures his meaning. Gives you an idea of the military's feeling today.

1. And for his one comment
imagine thousands more like it from the military.

No wonder they're keeping them over there. I know from my husband's experience as a GI it's just easier not to vote than to mess with overseas absentee voting. bush et al do NOT want the military to be voting this November, BELIEVE ME.

But their families will.
