my brother's observations on Bush's speeches |
|
I havent seen Bush's speeches today but my brother caught them, he says that Bush basically goes off topic easily to paraphrase what he said, Bush is talking about fishing one min, and the next he's talking about Laura. He also observed that he's acting like Larua is so much a part of the campaign, and that hes constantly mentioning her, he thinks hes a terrible speaker, and that Kerry may not win in a landslide but he will likely win. Just telling you all what my 13 year old brother thinks of Bush, Ive got to get him to see Kerry speak on TV or maybe even with me if Kerry speaks here.

2. its my brother's perspective |
|
He's 13, doesnt know much but he seems to be like me a democrat though probably more socially conservative, he doesnt like abortion, willing to support the death penalty, and like most kids that age who havent learned much yet a bit not understanding on gays but hes growing tolerant but on economic views, hes quite fine and hes not a fan of war.

3. MY brother's observation about Kerry's convention speech |
|
"The speech sucked, but I was overwhelmed by his quality of not being George Bush."
He didn't vote in the last election, now he's a solid Kerry man.
North Carolina, raise up!

5. Listening to a chimp speech on the radio is revealing |
|
Without distracting smirks and hand gestures the speeches are immediately strange and disjointed, stumbling and sound ad libbed. He is definitely fond of this self paraphrasing "in other words" nonsense. I first noticed it in the first speech/news conference after 9/11, probably one of his first speech/news conferences.

Kevin smart? I never thought I'd see the day but he can be smart sometimes, like when he told me that Bush would have had 9/11 if he could do it over again, I dont believe in LIHOP but I believe Bush is grateful to the bounce it gave him and would have things like that if he could do it over again.
