I went to my local dem headquarters today.
I live in a very conservative district in NC and visited the dem headquarters today to get a Kerry bumpersticker. An elderly couple were volunteering there. We struck up a conversation and I learned that they were lifetime republicans who wanted Bush out so bad that they decided to volunteer for Kerry.
I thanked them for volunteering their time and told him his party had been hijacked. He agreed.

2. That's cool..
My precinct walking leader was a Republican until recently. She has reregistered as a Democrat. She wants Bush out badly, but originally supported Kucinich. I wonder how many more Republicans are working with Democrats against Bush?

3. I also have a hopeful story. I was at school working on my room
and one of my teacher friends there started saying that she did not know what to do. She said that she is a lifelong Pug but is so mad at GWB and especially Cheney. She isn't a sure vote, but now that I know, I'll encourage her.

5. If they are women emphasize the women's rights
the neo-cons and religious fundies want to take from them. They are very open to this and will listen.

4. I have converted several folks
and other Republicans have come up to me to say they are not voting for monkeyboy.
How can all of these polls show the race a dead heat? It's ridiculous!

8. Only once.
Quinipiack (I KNOW that's spelled wrong)
One of the questions were: How would you rate the job President Bush is doing?
A-Excellent
B-Good
C-Average
D-Poor

I replied, "Do you have anything lower than poor?"
The woman on the other end stifled a laugh.
True story.

10. I got polled by Gallup during the '88 election.
They even sent me a nice pen for participating.
