The other two networks at least showed Kerry using the word "sensitive" in context. So that Cheney is clearly shown to be using what Kerry said out of context. Brokaw showed Cheney actually delivering his criticism, while he himself only characterized Kerry's words. So that the sleazy nature of Cheney's attack could not be understood by the viewer.

because he always seemed to stick to the subject, money. Then he went through a weird Repuke worshipping phase where W and Company could do no wrong. But I've seen him spit nails over outsourcing and other things lately, and I think he really can see the forest despite the trees, and doesn't like it one bit.

ABC showed a snippet of Kerry saying "Sensitive" but cut it so short it lost context... if they had only played another 10 seconds of Kerry it would have made perfect sense.
Then ABC went on to conclude you must say it fast -in small sound bites if you want the public to understand.
ABC by cutting Kerry short fulfilled its own point of the sound bite nature of today's news..

3. Brokaw is a cousin of Bush |
|
The Brokaws and Bushes intermarried somewhere (I know some of the extended family) - and they are thisclose.
But I cannot prove it via anything on the internet though I have searched it. I just know it from (their)family members.

10. Yep. I was watching ABC World News Tonight |
|
and the story said Cheney was just focussing on "one word" that Kerry used, and then ABC went on the show the ENTIRE sentence that Kerry said, thereby showing how out-of-context it was taken by Cheney.
Made Cheney look like the evil asshat he is.
Oh, and then! ABC finished up the report by reporting that the Kerry campaign had pointed out to them that Bush* himself had said several times that the war on terra had to be done in a "sensitive" way. Then ABC News showed a clip of Bush* saying this very thing.
Hahahaha!
I can't believe ABC treated it this way but IT SHOWED that the quick response by the Kerry campaign DID HELP.

11. We are so happy that for once a news network did it's job. |

It should be the norm. And If it was Bush wouldn't even be in the race.
