How can a country have soveriegnty.. |

if it doesn't have a standing army? Also what would happen if the other Arab countries decide to not recognize the new Iraqi Government? These and other question which are important to the future of Iraq do not seemed to be asked. Also what wil happen to Najaf and Fallujah when we leave? I see more problems than answers..

And a 12,000 man army.....They will always require our "assistance", militarily. We're building 24 bases (ours) to ensure no future admin can leave soon.

Costa Rica for one....I think the lesson here to be learned is that you might need weapons of mass destruction, the real ones, to actually enjoy sovereignty. Like Pakistan, North Korea, and Iran
