If the Republicans lose this election, they will lose BIG |
|
First off their president will be gone.
There will be no more stacking of the Courts with Right-Wing Extremists.
John Ashcroft, although perjured to the 9/11 Commission, will receive nothing more than a Pink Slip.
The Christian Right will lose it's influence. Remember Pat Robertson saying Bush will win in a landslide?
With it's power stripped and the Christian Right beaten to a pulp, will this signal a new era for peace and prosperity for America? The only way to make sure that will happen is to vote for John Kerry.

1. yes, they'll all instantly vanish! |
|
they'll only be left with 5-4 majority on the court, control of the house, most likely control of the senate, and state governments and of course the media.
it'll be just as if they never existed!

3. The Republicans will be on the road to ruin |
|
It'd would be a great start. I think when Kerry is elected, the people will also want to get rid of the Republicans in the House and Senate. And who knows, there might be a place for another Liberal Judge too.

Can they find anyone more of a patsy than W?
I do worry that when JFK is elected the Republicans will give him more hell than Clinton ever got. I hope that the Mass. wing of the party is stronger than the weak support Clinton got.

however groups have sprung up that I don't think existed or were as vocal during the 2000 election (tell me the truth did MoveOn and other groups participate as much as they do now?)
Then you got Air America whose personalities have all said that should Kerry get elected their job will only have begun in that they will fight against the smear storm that will no likely come before Kerry even has a chance to sit down for the first time in the president's chair.
In other words never again, they will not smear Kerry they way they smeared on Clinton, they can try but they won't get away with it this time we know better now.

13. That's why, when the election is won, we CANNOT go away. |
|
And get complacent, and think that Kerry will be fine on his own now. We have to stay on duty, stay on guard, and stay VIGILANT. And we have to give HELLFIRE AND DAMNATION to anyone who tries to screw with him/us.
It's not over even AFTER the fat lady has sung. It's only just started at that point.

2. It will be civil war within the GOP |
|
The only thing that holds the factions of the GOP together is that they share the spoils of power. Once that is removed, they will be at each others throats like rabid weasels.

6. I dunno. They got pretty Nazi like discipline. |
|
Look how they twisted arms and bribed and played hardball with EVERYBODY!
Look at how DuIlilio and O'Neill and the others shat their pants after Rove had his thirty minutes of "Just WHO THEY FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" AND his worst secrets threatened to be exposed.
They got a billion dollar engine of evil Pavda and legions of idealogues and julius streichers.

sorry to yell, but we have inturrupted thier plans before. We had a two term president, and they survived all eight years. They focused on congress and where ready to rock again when clinton left.
The war has only just begun.

This is REALLY urgent. They could survive to come back YET AGAIN. They did it this last time. We have to check their EVERY move. We can NEVER EVER let our guard down again. We have to fight EVERY battle as though it were for keeps. Because it IS.

It wouldn't surprise me if we see more homegrown terrorists going after liberals and Dems.

Regardless, it is a war, and we are on the side of riteousness. And we must not be forget that this is a multigenerational war for the hearts and minds of the American people.

Maybe a big split into
GOP A: The Classic Republican Party (Economic Republicans)
GOP B: The Reactionary Republican Party (Extreme Social Conservatives) like Bush, etc.

that if the Republican's loose there will be lots of folks being indicted and probably going to jail from this administration. That's why they "have" to win.
So if W. doesn't win who will be the first person from the Bush II administration brought up on charges?

PNAC got their enormous embassy and 14 permanent military bases in Iraq, changes in the structure of the military and (unless God hears my prayers) they will stay out of jail and be ready to regroup after a 4 year (minimum) witch hunt after Kerry.

18. wishful thinking. the seeds of our defeat may well be sown in our victory |
|
the entire history of the world shows that.
the gop will still hold at least one part of congress. the gop will be able to stifle many initatives that kerry/dems want. they will be able to call congressional hearings to take the wind out of a democratic administration's plans for a myriad of things. the result may be a successful rear guard holding action by the gop that aborts democratic programs and leads people to think of the democrats as ineffective when they are in power.
winning for kerry will be easier than governing.
and i note that no one mentioned the vast sums of money at stake and anyone who thinks that the rich don't protect their money is not sober. they will invest even more in conservative think tanks, right wing journals, tv, and radio staions to capture and direct the manufacturing of consent of the people.
this is a long twilight struggle against some of the worst attributes of mankind. these creature features are not going away anytime soon.

23. The first thing Kerry needs to do |
|
is appoint a tough Attorney General and open a myriad of investigations into all the wrong doing of this administration, declassify documents and make them public, and bring the perps to justice. They will being so busy trying to dodge bullets that they won't have time to mount an offensive against Kerry. There are a lot of Republicans mixed up in dirty business. One investigation will lead into more and more. Any of them who deflected any investigation now and in the last 3 years will need looked at..for instance, where are the papers that the torture memos should have instigated?
Ungag Sibel Edmonds, find out who leaked Plame, find out who gave out the fact that we had Iran's communications code, where did that 700 million come from and go to in Bob Woodward's book.
Yup, there will be a lotta Republicans trying to cover their asses if Kerry goes on the offensive the day after being sworn in.

26. If Kerry doesn't have the sense to reinstate theFairness Doctrine |
|
AS THE VERY FIRST MOVE HE MAKES (!!!!) then, he deserves everything they throw at him.
THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE'S AIRWAVES!!!! And they have been monopolized by the extreme .....EXTREME... right wing. The media has been used as a WEAPON against the brains, and good sense, of the American people.
If the media is RE-regulated, and these right wing monopolies broken up, and the Fairness Doctrine is restored, then the PEOPLE will HEAR about all the repukes doing the perp walk...and they will HEAR about all the tricks the repukes used to lie, cheat and steal.
Kerry MUST, for the good of this country, outlaw the crooked voting machine industry, and outlaw the crooked media. THEN, he needs to send every federal investigator in the country after the bush mafia, and the right wing "world domination" crooks, and prosecute their shenanigans to the fullest extent of the law.
Kerry was a PROSECUTOR!! And that is EXACTLY what America needs him to be!.... That, and a patriot who will help us take our country back from the nazis.
