I've always been amazed by this....

I'll read or watch a startling Revelation by the main-streamers and say to myself, I learned about that a month ago.

But I think the time lag is shortening. Or at least I hope it is.

I think the Dems are finally realizing that bloggers have authentic info and are floowing up faster - witness the cached committee list that made it from blog to DU (or was it the other way around?) to Kerry to mainstream press within a day or so.

I took months for what I saw on DU, Buzzflash etc. about the contributor base for the swiftsmears to show up mainstream.

2. Yep, sure are.

My husband will tell me about an article he read in the Chicago Trib and I have to tell him "Yes, I know. I read that on DU a long time ago." Then, he sighs, shrugs his shoulders and rolls his eyes. :7 Quite funny. :hi:

I also tell him the whole story, as the article in the local paper is about 1 inch long, and the original article (from the original paper) that was posted on DU is about 5 inches!
