Or as least reprimand him. Dammit why won't the Kerry campaign just say that yes, I would still authorize the president to be able to go to war, BUT I would have allowed the inspectors to finish the inspection!

why the democrats can't get that message right either. I have said the same thing in the past. For some reason there is no discussion of the inspection process and the fact that they (UN inspectors) were making progress when their mission was cut short by KGB (King George Bush)

2. The Bush Campaign guy also brought up the $87 Billion |
|
that Kerry supposedly voted against and that, too, went unanswered. Again.
I just don't understand why, when they have a HUGE captive audience, like Russert viewers, they don't take THAT opportunity to expalin it? Why won't they tell what really went down? Devine had another chance to do that today, and missed it. :(

3. I wouldn't go that far, but Kerry needs to explain why |
|
he voted against the 87 billion in terms the American people can understand.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I understand it is that he voted the way he did because he wanted tax cuts to the top rolled back to pay for this instead of the American people.
If that is correct, simplify it, so ordinary "Mericans" can get it.

6. That's correct and he wanted the Iraqi oil revenues |
|
to pay for the reconstruction of Iraq. He wanted a portion of the 87 Billion to be a "loan" to Iraq to be repaid by the revenues and the rest covered by the tax rollback of people who make more than $400,000. Bush said he would veto that bill. The bill that he voted against, WE get to pay for...in full. The vote against the passed bill was a symbolic vote because he KNEW there was enough votes to pass it. :grr:
