Is it just me, or is this Lee Hamilton guy completely useless?

Listening to him drone on and on via CSPAN, I'm wondering if he's ever actually done anything worth all the effusive praise all these Reps are greeting him with.

I'm automatically suspicious of anyone praised for their "bipartisanship" by Republicans - it means he knowns how to roll over and play dead.

All of his media appearances have been similarly unimpressive. Even Kean seems to occasionally say something worthwhile...

So he's a reliable tool for GOP shenanigans, providing cover for their illegal activities. The more dead bodies, the more need there is for the special expertise that only Lee Hamilton can provide. Naturally, the GOP loves him.

5. He is not completely useless.He serves as an ornament

whenever the powers that be want a harmless mouthpiece repeating whatever he has been told.He can deliver the most inane arguments with a perfectly serious demeanor and in a perfectly droning monotone ensuring that anyone listening would not be awake by the time he is through. What more can you want in our gloriously corrupted democracy?
