Attention California DU'ers |
|
Looking at this map of electoral votes just gave me a jolt. Kerry has a three point edge in your state? Gore won it by 12 if we lose California we lose. Is this right?? http://www.electoral-vote.com/

1. Let's not get our panties in a twist. The SINGLE poll is suspect. |
|
No other poll has shown such a result, and there've been plenty. Furthermore, it's going to be a lang, hard slog to eject the fascists from our government, at all levels. "Winning" one election isn't even close to being enough to undo the damage done to our democratic republic over the last 24 years! We're a banana republic. We're an outlaw nation. As long as people like Junior Fly-Shit get more than 5% of the vote, we're in deep doo-doo.

the black boxes. It looks like they're going to let Californians vote on uncertified machines in many places.
NOT that certification has done much to keep these black boxes from mis-tallying votes! But the Diebolds, et al, of the world have really turned up the heat in the California, Washington <State>, and Florida legislatures, boards of elections, and SoS offices. They are trying to insure that the hands of government stay away from their "proprietary" programming, and they're also fighting to make sure that paper trails are outlawed.
The neocons are going for the voting machine strategy more than they're actually trying to win votes. THAT is what I'm most worried about.

But I do not like the trend in California, I it has not been to long ago it was considered a safe state for Kerry. I just wondered what the locals thought and felt
