Bush breaks pledge to deliver five major speeches... |
|
irregulartimes.com
"In May of 2004, George W. Bush pledged to deliver five major speeches, one a week, in which he would deliver a bold new outline for Iraq's future. Mr. Bush got around to making one, but none of the others followed. If this guy can't manage to maintain his commitment to make speeches, how can we expect him to maintain his commitment to actually do anything? (Source: The New Yorker August 30, 2004)"
John Kerry needs to hold Bush accountable and ask him to MAKE THOSE SPEECHES!

3. I was just talking to my husband about this just the other week. What |
|
happened to those speeches? Oh, that's right: Shrub would actually have to speak in complete sentences.

7. Exactly, Kerry should just 'remind' Bush to honor his pledges, and if |
|
he is okay with breaking promises to the American public? That's all, simple. What hurt papa bush was the repetitive commercials of "READ MY LIPS-NO NEW TAXES," then the elder bush reneging on that promise. This is simple, we all know, repugs and democrats how nervous and poorly bush speaks, therefore, if Kerry holds him accountable to his promise, he'll have to speak, or face his daddy's fate, a big LIAR, and we all really know, all the Bush's lie!

4. That was during the now forgotten "handover" phase of this mess |
|
I am still waiting for him to "reveal" the "truth" about WMD. However, I am willing to be patient, since Iraq is a big as California and there is a lot of sand and so on.

11. He Didn't Break Any Pledge. |
|
He is following SOP. Say one thing and make a bee-line in the other direction. To do otherwise would be a flip flop.
