Garrison Keillor visits Sacramento |
|
On Sat. nite Sacramento hosted "A Prairie Home Companion" on The Rhubarb Tour. It was a sold-out (in 2 hours) house & the show was great. Early on they did "We're All Republicans Now" and the audience seemed some what reserved in their reaction. Later in the show "Guy Noir" got a call from the white house. "Bush" needed the private eye to go out to "Caleeforneea" to help get Arnold in shape for the recall vote. As the cast started slamming the repugs, the crowd really started to loosen up. The fact that Arnold can't even pronouce "California" really went over big. It was great to be out in public with so many like minded folks!

I wanted to go to his show at Wolftrap this year in the DC area, but the timing didn't work. Love GK!

2. I listen to Garrison Keillor all the time |
|
He is my favorite and can think of no one else who can tickle my funny bone the way Keillor can.
I did however miss his visit to Sacramento show and this upsets me after hearing what it was about. Damn
