I was at my sister's yesterday, and during a brief politcal discussion, my brother-in-law ... who regularly spouts right-wing nonsense and says he really likes O'Reilly ... said that he thinks * is STUPID and DOESN'T PLAN TO VOTE FOR HIM!!
I nearly fainted.
In our liberal family, he was the only Republican holdout.

Voted for Bush in 2000, absolutely not voting for him again. But Kerry really needs to have a long talk about what he said in 1971, explain how policymakers screw up wars, hurt the troops and our world standing, connect bad policies then to bad policies in Iraq, and say how what he learned then makes him the right person to resolve Iraq today. That would make alot of these right wingers really support Kerry instead of just being against Bush.

Very successful guy and a decades long fiscal Republican. He's had it and is voting Kerry. Asked him if there was any chance for Kerry in this state and he smiled and said "Edwards" -- if they just show up. Very smart guy. That answer really blew me away.
