George W. Bush has a real plan for his next term
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 11:14 AM by SoCalDem
It's a 7 point plan..It's easy to understand..

1. End social security
2. End medicare
3. Institute a flat-tax/national sales tax instead of income tax
4. All war - all the time..
5. Turn over all protected lands for "exploration/exploitation"..
6. More tax cuts for his pals
7. Load up the Supreme Court (The Clarence Thomas Court)

There are more, to be sure, but these are his priorities. He would be a "lame duck" from the instant he is sworn in, but there is much to be done in his second term, and without the need for campaigning, we could expect him to be uncommonly "busy" in the next 4 years..

If he manages to stay in office, it would be a safe assumption that the house and senate would remain under republican rule, so there would be nothing stopping them this time around..

It's their "perfect storm" scenario..

This is what is at stake.. The repubes have made it no secret that they want to dismantle the New Deal and the Great Society programs.. This would be their crowning glory...to drive a stake in the heart of what remains of these programs.. Ronald Reagan started it , and G.W.Bush plans to finish it..

They envision an America with two classes..The worker-class and the Elite..

We know "our place" in that plan..:(

9. Or
1. Profits and taxes should go to the rich.
2. Profits and taxes should be paid by the non-rich.

Any questions?

11. That's the republican way.. Privatize profit..Socialize risk..
They are masters of that tactic.. the sickening thing , is that they have managed to convince poor people that by making their "masters" richer, it will ultimately benefit THEM too.. Poor people who count on the benevolence of their "betters" , almost always end up doing their yardwork, shining their shoes or cleaning their toilets :(

10. That prettywell sums up their plans, ayup
In the meantime, they never planned for:

Terrorists using airplanes as missiles
Peace in Iraq
Reducing the deficit
Finding alternatives to dwindling oil sources

Nope, no planning whatsoever was done for the most important things middle class America needs from our government.

Miserable Failures, across the board.
