11. If these people go home and get INVOLVED

then indeed the march will not have been for naught. We need people to be in the streets as well as at meetings to facilitate change.

We need to talk to one another at work. Don't throw every left wing slogan at people but talk about the inequity of workers getting 3% increases while managers and CEOs get bonuses in the thousands of dollars each year. All people can relate to that.

Talk about the economy and how it's poor kids who fight wars. Talk about the fact that poor and lower middle class kids are forced to take out huge student loans or join the military if they want to go to college.

Talking to some co-workers in this way has introduced me to some closeted progressive thinking people. This one lady at work says she has never been so angry and frustrated. I have tried to show her that she can channel that frustration by writing e mails to her "representatives" and such.

9. I cancelled plans to go out instead I'm staying home and doing the only

thing I can do to help the marchers of NY, I'm sticking to Yahoo and voting every protest picture a "5". It's the least and most I can do to help the marchers in NY while I'm in CA.
