Bush's latest polls
http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

7/8-9/03 60 32 8
6/12-13/03 66 27 7

He dropped 6 points and went up 5 dissaproval points in less than a month. And I'm guessing this poll was mostly taken before the lie bombshell dropped. I'd love to see polls taken after it.

1. CBS still had him at 60% today
even with his Iraq and economy numbers below that.

2. We're still not anywhere near where we need to be.
What does it take to convince the average voter that they should vote differently next time? We'd better figure it out in the next 16 months...

4. But the Democrat elect numbers are at 30 in those same polls

Bush would lead a Democrat by a few percentage points in an election today. However, expect that to change very soon.

5. of course just a "generic Democrat" can't beat him
but once people have a name to attach to it, count on it.
