Also, in Colorado, the repug state legislators are trying to pass a law to force colleges and universities to hire repugs as professors - seems they can't get hired on their own merits.

This site ranks the smartest states based on 21 different factors. If you'll notice, the top 10 states (besides Montana) are ALL Democrat states in elections! In fact, nearly all the top 20 states are blue states. ALL the bottom 10 states are red states..Hope this helps!
