Zell Miller: The Face of the Republican Party
Wild eyed, frothing at the mouth, insane. WAY...WAY over the top.
The Democratic Party can use this. This could energize the lazy Democratic base.(ala Wellstone memorial)

Many republicans in the crowd looked very uncomfortable at zellot's deranged rant and wildly erroneous accusations. John McCain himself rebutted some of Zell's wilder claims. The pundits are going to love ridiculing Zell.

Our Party needs to select clips and sound bytes of zell's rant and replay them, pointing out the lies every day until the election.

DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGN: Please don't let the repubs sweep this under the rug.
Write letters, call in radio shows expressing disbelief and anger at zell's inappropriate performance, contrast with the civility of the DNC.

1. Zell: best ally, worst nightmare
Edited on Wed Sep-01-04 10:36 PM by FlaIndie
He went off on a wild rant, most of which was refuted right before his own lying eyes on CNN. He "doesn't know" if Bush actually used the term occupation with Iraq, or that Cheney voted against the same weapons bills, or that Kerry voted for 16 of 19 defense spending bills. He says he has all the facts right there in his hands. Hey Zell, one problem: they were handed to you by the RNC!

And Zell didn't think he sounded all that angry on stage. Oh?

4. Perhaps in the interest of higher tactics...
Zell Miller may have performed in such a way to prove he is truly a fighter for the cause.
On occasion, a true believer will pretend to gravitate towards the other side in order to wreak havoc in the end... is it possible that Zell is truly on the side of righteousness but has made an effigy of himself, immolated himself to create havoc where havoc is due?

I hope so, but maybe he really is an idiot.

(I'm getting used to that in humans...JK.)

6. yeah, he and Keyes are like birds of the same feather
They aren't even smart enough to do that kind of damage to Republicans on purpose. Lcukily, they haven't caught on yet.

7. it's the party of hatred. What did anybody expect?
Recently i've been subjected to some serious hatred from someone who started stalking me, all because I'm a democrat.

yet the GOP continues to handsomely compensate hate-mongers like Rush, Coulter, Savage, and Hannity.

what's worse, the mainstream media gives these people forums. Some of the biggest conglomerates in the world. Clear Channel. NBC/Universal.

They are going to reap what they have sown.

Nutcases abound, ready to bully everyone in their path. Zell is just one of them.

It will, ultimately, backfire on them. The question is, when. And the question is how much power will they have gained BEFORE it backfires.

Because they've gotten a hell of a lot.

It's time to take it from them.
