Worst party convention I've ever seen

I'm 32 and I've been a political junky since 1980. And I can't remember a worse political convention. What we've seen so far looks like it was planned by people who don't think they need to change anybody's minds. They use tired old lies that have been exposed months ago. They trot out speakers who are either inept (Laura, the Bush twins, Bill Frist) phoning it in (McCain, Cheney) or complete lunatics.

Either this crowd has nothing but contempt for the electorate, and even for those on their own side, or they're believing their own bullshit about being invincible.

The football is on the ground folks. Is Kerry going to pick it up and run?

And yes, I think that Kerry is going to pick up the football and run it to a touchdown and the game win....

I think the Bush Twins were the low point of stupidity, Ahnuld the lowpoint on sexism and stupid insults, Zell Miller was the lowpoint for Venom and a Traitor/Turncoat, and Cheney was the lowpoint for boring while being downright nasty.....

Wonder what W is going to be?

7. it's the NO HOPE convention!

attacking bravery and heroism while offering absolutely nothing but fear and hate and downright meanness towards fellow Americans....not to mention how they wallow in and cheerlead belief in stupidity and nonsense and their own peculiar brand of evil...my only reaction besides dumfounded awe and aghastness at such an alien display is that I have to get reacquainted with firearms again because they want to bring on the barricades!
