Framing the debate to their advantage
seems like the republicans always get to frame the debate to their advantage. All we've heard about for a month straight is war, war, war, john kerry in vietnam, voting in the senate, military, iraq, church, abortion etc. That's really playing into republicans advantage by focusing everyone's minds over there.

If the debate for the last month was framed as jobs, economy, science, partiot act, poverty, middle class fading away, anti-labor, wall mart, power and corruption of the media, corruption in government, benefits disappearing, universal health coverage, discrimination. Then I would have no doubt it's Kerry in a landslide.

In fact I would guess it's the media that is responsible for framing the debate in the first place. I just wonder how he's going to get the momentum back with almost 100% of the media working against him.

1. You're right
They have kicked away the ladder, presuming that nobody will be able
to break down their fortress of lies.

Perhaps getting their fortress to collapse will take gods help like
at jericho. But until then, there is always speaking out, like you
did to start this thread. Once voice sparks a million.

They will kill a generation of american kids in more wars if they
are not stopped. Whether or not the media is framed badly, we
now have the internet, and all in all, the internet is a more
powerful tool for us, than the mass media are for them. We need
to use this internet to get voters registered and to the polls and
no matter what frame they put on the tele, it won't affect the
real reality that the vast majority of americans are not neocons.
