Osama wasn't mentioned at the convention because he didn't do it |
|
more than ever, i'm convinced that osama had NOTHING to do with 9-11, and that the whole thing was dreamed up and executed by the good ol u.s. government under the guidance of the neocons.
why else would they not mention the man's name EVEN ONCE? he is the man identified as the perpetrator of the attacks, yet his name is never uttered once? gimmee a break.
no one can prove to me that it was osama who fell the towers. no one.

1. Did you read this month's Atlantic Monthly? |
|
There's a very big article about a Wall Street Journal reporter who obtained an Al-Qaeda laptop computer after they fled Kabul.
The information on the hard drive was pretty indicative that Al-Qaeda was involved.

so, why wasn't osama's name mentioned? because, even if it was osama, they've utterly failed to find or stop him.

5. Well why WOULD they mention him? |
|
their failure to find him is one of the great stains on this administration.
I believe their failure to mention him is irrelevant to the question of whether he's responsible for 9/11.
I believe he is. Despite what you say, there is much evidence to defend that view.
That Bush doesn't mention him is due to Bush's failure to capture him.

and i should have added that i am wrong quite a lot. either of us could be right, we dont' really know. but you're right, failure to capture the number one boogie man in the world after a huge build up and guarantee to bring him to justice dead or alive, is the reason for the silence.
saddam sits in a prison and the world is safer. only a child or a republican would believe that

no one but lonely ol me wonders why they fought the investigations so hard, but exploit the tragedy so utterly? even having the gaul to have it in NYC at the scene of the crime, yet never mentioning osama.
i wish the dems would point out these glaring contradictions

10. i think that reporter is a neo-con and his find a false flag |
|
And I'm in the process of accessing Atlantic Monthly on line to get the reporter's name. I did see him on one of the talking heads- or possibly c-span- and he and his tale seemed bogus.

about that videotape with OBL and the cleric allegedly talking about the WTC?
Produced in the USA or abroad?
All I remember is that it fell off the news radar pretty quickly.
And how do they always happen to find these videotapes in abandoned houses in AFG?

|
when one is released, the c.i.a. always steps forward to verify it's authenticity. yeah right. i don't believe ANY of those knock off videos. any fool can put one of those together and put voices on it.
it'll take more than a fake video that's 10 years old to convince me.

14. Their failure to capture him as promised is why he is not mentioned |
|
I think that their failure to capture him as promised is why he is not mentioned. In recent times there has been a lot of evidence turn up that seems to make it fairly certain that Al Queda was involved. That doesn't rule out something like a government-al queda collaboration. I personally don't feel the evidence supports that as the most plausible explanation, but it's possible.
Remember too, that the news reported a month ago that the U.S. was making desperate ultimatums against the Pakistani government to deliver Osama in the next month or else (when I say deliver I mean we were telling them to find him using our most forceful language) - it seemed like desperation on the administration's part, but not consistent with fabrication.
I think Bush would just rather not get "where's Osama" thrown in his face.

or vice versa. the term 'al qaeda' covers a lot of bases, and they don't carry cards with picture i.d.'s.
but, no one can prove to my cranky ass that it definitely was osama. at best, it's a theory, there's been no trial, no official word that it was him. has there?

Osamma is a deep cover CIA operative. None of his cult know this. He is the PR person and hero. Terror on the US helps the Neo Fascists, the Multi-Corps, arms merchants and the MIC with it's thousands of offshoots. War is good business. Endless war is great for mass control and does away with Representative Republic.
It doesn't matter if Ossama is ever caught, even the Pres. said so. Al Q. has split off into many cells. They don't need Osamma anymore but his now next to Alah visage is useful for the true believers and also serves the purpose of still being a threat to Americans.

17. That's my reading of the situation too. |
|
In fact, watching the convention, I just had this thought. It is entirely possible that the Iraq war was meant to serve also as a diversion; to prevent the public from figuring out the obvious flaws in the official 911 story that would have led to a REAL investigation of that day.
*911 was done by the PNACers to kick off their agenda
*Iraq was invaded to hide the truth about 911 (which is NOT the sole reason for the Iraq invasion, but a bonus benefit)
Its been a total success so far. Americans not only think Osama did 911, but think Saddam was involved too! Yet no one has seriously asked the government how the fuck was it possible for the FBI find Atta's passport in the debris of WTC! As the Guardian put it- "The idea that Atta's passport had escaped from that inferno unsinged would have tested the credulity of the staunchest supporter of the FBI's crackdown on terrorism."

It would be wise for someone in Osamma's group to kill him and burn his body to ashes because if Osamma ever got caught it would bode ill for the al Q. cells. A vanished Icon would be much better.

|
And numbed by TV "reality", the majority are happily fooled. NO WAY IN HELL was 911 the work of a motely group of terrorists. I have shit to offer as proof, but absence of proof does not mean proof of innocence.
I have read most of the arguments that have been made against the govt's official version of 911, and the logic in those arguments is too solid for them to be dismissed as conspiracy theories.

Hell, the last thing Bush wanted was OBL caught quickly after 9/11. The fear would die down,OBL wouldn't be in the news,no need to attack other countries.
If you don't have a bogey man out running around then you can't keep the fear factor running.
