Did anyone listen to Robert Kennedy Jr. on the Diane Reams show today? |
|
He has just released a new book..."Crimes Against Nature" and after listening to him speak I went out and ordered myself a copy. The ammunition that it will give me with * supporters will be very valuable.
I am as "Mad as Hell and I am not going to take it anymore!"

3. Thanks gumby :-) Everyone should listen to what he is trying to tell us!! |
|
He says that he is not a Democrat attacking a Repug... but a citizen that is very concerned of the direction that this administration is taking us. * has eased over 400 laws that protect our environment and our people. Its appalling that more Americans aren't outraged. If they new what was happening... they would be... but our media doesn't cover the stories.

Yeah, I'm especially glad he's raising awareness about Bush's appalling relaxation of the rules for mercury. It's so bloody absurd what Bush has done. Cheers, MF

I agree... Mercury has been found continent wide. Just about all lakes contain it. He stated that coal burning power plants emit the most mercury. One thing that he didn't bring up was that * has authorized the opening of 91 obsolete coal fired power plants nationwide. Ten of which are in my state Michigan. We have 11,000 lakes here. These plants legally couldn't be opened since they don't come close to meeting the standards for emissions of several toxic substances...let alone mercury. However... our pResident has signed waivers for these plants, so they can be started up again.
I am at a loss on what the hell he is doing...why? Are we in such a crises that we HAVE to start up these plants..? jeeze..
Anyhow... :toast:

Brilliant. But the environment is a non-issue in this campaign of image, fluff and deep-do-do....The word environment has 3 syllables, which is two too many for W to pronounce.
