Didn't Bush once make a comment about "serving in Vietnam"? |
|
If so, could someone post it here?

Course, there are some tinfoil types who think that shrubya might have BEEN in Vietnam, as some sort of CIA operative or on a private adventure (drugs?). Somebody even posted some links here to a web story from a guy who swears he had drinks with shrubya in Saigon. He was AWOL for about a year, and nobody remembers him being around for either Alabama nat'l guard duty OR for the campaign he was supposed to be helping out (where he nickname was the " Texas Souffle ").
I don't think much of the theory, it's far more likely that he was down by the pool getting loaded and partying on the weekends with the razor blade and mirror crowd. But then, none of those people have written books or sold storied to the Enquirer either. So who knows. I'm pretty sure of one thing, shrubya did NOT show up one weekend every two and go flying with his unit, nor did he spend the weekdays attending church and handing out political fliers and working the phones.
