GAEL MURPHY: Well I want to say before I was taken out, the Secret Service, at least three or four of them on top of me, I was in a choke hold flat on floor and one straddling me who made a point of trying to announce to the folks around him, I assume to the media, that I was kicking and that I was resisting arrest. And I wasn't. I was completely still. So I think that's important to mention, that they were trying to trump up some kind of an assault charge, potentially.
-----------------------------------------------------

Last week, when a 19 year old man from Yale shouted anti-war slogans at Cheney, and the Secret Service accused him of trying to assault them because his elbow moved as they grabbed him, a lot of people on this board accepted the Secret Service version.

The reality is that the Secret Service just makes phony accusations that the people they grab resisted arrest/ assaulted them because there is NO LAW against shouting at Dick Cheney, so they need a bogus charge for an arrest.
