W Ketchup and Bush Country Ketchup
But banker Bill Zachary, who co-founded W Ketchup in Eagle Bridge, N.Y., said stock owned by the Heinz family -less than four per cent -can still fund causes that Kerry's wife supports.

Zachary claims the product is non-partisan, yet the sales pitch for W Ketchup is: "You don't support Democrats. Why should your ketchup?"

"We kind of wanted it to be a fun way for people to show their stripes," Zachary said.

par·ti·san (pärt-zn)
adj.
1. Devoted to or biased in support of a party, group, or cause: partisan politics.
2. Blindly hating a political party so much that you must avoid a particular brand of ketchup because it has the same name as that political party's candidate's wife.

What a bunch of dumbasses. And is there anything more pathetic than these toothless, inbred morons putting "W" ketchup on their "freedom fries" and thinking that Teresa actually gives a shit?

3. A question--who is actually bottling the ketchup?
Of course they aren't producing this stuff from scratch...it's made by someone else.

Now, I remember seeing it was being bottled in Freemont, Oh. Anyone want to guess what major ketchup company also bottles in Freemont?

6. Who cares what it tastes like?

Barb and Jenna could be pissing in it.

Shrub and Cheney could be jerking off in the bottle.

Laura could be dropping her spent Camel lights in it.

Karl Rove could be spitting his acid like Alien bile in the bottle.

They could be using tomatoes grown by Osama Bin Laden and they would still flock to by it because it's "merican goddammit".

Ketchup.

KETCHUP!!!!!

With over a THOUSAND dead in IRAQ we ARE TALKING ABOUT FREAKIN' KETCHUP!

If I make it through the election without having a heart attack it will be a miracle.

7. The sad part of it is that the Heinz companies sales and profits
were down last quarter, the only people it will hurt is the employees of Heinz. Another thing that drives me nuts, is the Repugs keep
saying Heinz has factories overseas. Dah! they make food that is consumed all over the world, not products that are produced in another country for cheap labor and then sold in this country. The Heinz company send out letters to their customers about 6 months ago explaining that and the fact that they have nothing to do with the campaign. But I guess the hateful narrow minded Repugs can't read.

9. I don't buy Heinz any more, but not because of kerry
it's because of the economy. I can buy heinz for 2.79 or the store brand for 1.89. as for how it tastes, I bet it's just heinz in a store brand bottle.

that being said, i'd guess that heinz does more business in food service than in supermarkets.

11. I'm an old fart, and I want Catsup!
Variations such as catsup, catchup, katsup, and others abounded alongside 'ketchup'. However, when the Reagan administration briefly decided to count ketchup as a vegetable in 1981, Del Monte Catsup found itself out of the loop due to their spelling- they permanently changed to 'ketchup', but by then public outcry had forced a reversal of administration policy. Ever since, though, you'll be hard-pressed to find a bottle from any manufacturer labeled anything other than 'ketchup'.
