Genesis Probe Crashes
(CNN) -- The Genesis return capsule crashed in the desert on Wednesday after its parachutes failed to deploy. The craft missed a mid-air retrieval meant to save the spacecraft from hitting the Earth.

1. Scratch another one up for NASA.
If anything ever needed overhauling, it's NASA.

4. Whoops!
They can send a man to the moon, but stunt pilots driving helicopters couldn't nab a simple parachuteless probe hurtling thru the air?

7. I wanna know how Karl Rove pulled this off.
AWOL story should be all over the place. But all I'm hearing on the news is Genesis crash, Genesis crash, Genesis crash.

Maybe Rove figured raising the terror level to red would be too flashy a way to get the media off the AWOL story. So he got NASA to make the chutes fail.

11. I wonder if the genuises behind all of the cost-cutting measures
at NASA took into account the probability of fuckups like this. Are they really saving any money when their capsules keep blowing up or crashing?
