Things just aren't going too well for Florida this year |

The NOAA predicts that Hurricane Ivan will hit Florida. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics/AT09/refresh/AL0904W5+GIF/090258W5.gifIf I were in Florida, I would probably want to move to another state. I couldn't handle three hurricanes in a row.

2. The weather in Florida...... |
|
Is just one of the many reasons to get the hell out of there. I've lived in Florida, and the day I left is a fond memory to me. I kissed the tarmac when I got back to the Bay area.
That reminds me: The people in Tampa and St. Pete call their home the "Bay Area". Ha! Never could get used to that when I lived there.
The "Bay Area" indeed.

6. That would be the 3rd eye to go within a few miles of us in a month. |
|
That would be unbearable in many ways.

Many repairs not done from Charley, and we are heading for #3. It is a total tragedy. We are lucky, but many are not.

7. Crap. Five trees down and some of my roof gone this time, |
|
and we were 125 miles from the eye of a Cat. 2 storm...I wouldnt have a home if we have a cat. 4 hit anywhere close to here...Gainesville is one of the most beautiful places in the world, its known as "Tree City USA" but those trees dont stand up to hurricanes, or anything close to hurricanes...
Everything is hoping that this thing takes a sharp turn to the north out to sea...my motherinlaw is right on Navarre Beach near Pensacola too...she would be destroyed if it hit her (though I'm not a fan myself of anyone living directly on the beach), and she was out of her house for 10 months in Opal...dont think that I could stand that one!!
