TV Ad Idea - Fade in: "Turning 18 this month?"

Close up on a young man looking at the camera...

Boy: "Yeah"

VOice over: "Going to register for the draft?"

Boy: "Yeah, sure it's the law..."

Voice over: "Maybe you should register to vote too?"

Boy: "Why?"

Fade to old clips of Vietnam era selective service, then to Iraq.

Fade to black.

Call me on useing the War for political gain but I think that this is really the way galvanize the young against this war and to make user make them turn out to vote Dem...

:thumbsup: The flashback could use Veitnam clips as well as
clips from MLK civil rights "firehoses" , sufferagists ,1930s
unemployment lines, labor (childlabor, coal miners etc...)
with a fade out on a bald eagle looking at an empty forest .

You know the ones...

New draftees reporting for induction etc..

Then cut to Iraq...

Sometimes teens need to SEE the connections between concepts to make them stick.
