Here are the Freepers plans for F9/11 DVD Release!!!
Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 12:27 PM by 101er
Any Suggestions on this one?:

How many Freepers are there? Im betting quite a few in every city and state. How easy would it be to print up the "Fifty Six Deceits of Fahrenheit 911" pdf and distribute them however possible all on the *same day* nationally? It prints up easily two pages on each side double sided. This is so easy to do, even if you leave just a few laying around at the local Starbucks with the newspaper or print a stack of 'em and hand 'em out.

When does the DVD come out? Maybe that would be a good day? What does everyone think? It would be a huge show of numbers if we ALL did it and get the FACTS OUT! I know some think that the movie is just preaching to the choir. Well screw that! I want to fight back! This would be so easy to do. All we need is a date and remind everyone as the day gets closer. What does everyone think?

1. I like the buy back program
people should buy two dvds then go make them buy one from you. Cost them a lot of money.

3. I like the way you think, morgan2!
Surely, some freepers will be tempted to watch the DVD... just to see what it's all about... and to be prepared to argue against it!

I'm still amazed at the number of freepers who attack a film they've never seen.

Stupidity shows, doesn't it?

4. That "56 deceits" is in and of itself deceptive.
Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 12:39 PM by LoZoccolo
I'm sure that a lot of people like to pass it around and be self-satisfied that it contains something, but when you actually read it, some of those points don't even claim to be "deceits" but rather "cheap shots" and what not. The article has this preface added to it that says if you don't like that, you can change the number and have it be "55 deceits" or whatever, and yet the article still goes around with the title "56 deceits". Bullshit.

7. This guy has obviously gone to the Sean Insanity
school of truth telling where Bill O'Reilly is the annual commencement speaker

13. And how many charges are there in the film?
Are there more than 56? Wouldn't that mean it is at least partially accurate? I wouldn't put a number on it if I were them...Some industrious DUer is going to find out how many "assertions" or "Statements as Facts" there are in the film.

19. LOL!
Reminds me of one of David Letterman's "Bush complaints about F911": It's only 97% true.

5. fuck 'em, more money for Moore
All those people do is remind everyone it's on DVD, making anyone who forgot to see it remember again.

Go nuts, dudes...

6. Did anyone hear the feature on Repubs
on "This American Life" on NPR this weekend? I listened to quite a bit of it, but finally my stomach turned enough where I just couldn't take it anymore.

One part had a guy in Chicago offering freeper office mates $400 to go see it with him; and he'd even throw in a drink afterwards.

So what these assholes do but heckle half the movie. It was unbelievable.

10. I heard this...
They had an extended interview with a Log Cabin Republican.

I felt sorry for him. Though it is funny how most of the Republicans he talked to wouldn't admit to the fact that they were anti-gay. It always strikes me how the Republican party appeals so much to our dark side that they can't even admit what their own policies are.

The Chicago traders were a different bunch altogether. It was more of a macho thing where his friends could not admit they were wrong.
Unfortunately, there is too much of this advocacy in today's politics. Not enough honest inquiry into what may actually be the best spectrum of policies. It is all about who is the "winner."

12. Yep, and
I haven't seen Bush's Brain or read the book,

but according to a friend who did, that's what Rove is all about. People's misery means nothing to him. The policies themselves are moot. the fact that he's helping to destroy people's lives? None of it matters to him. All that matters is winning.

14. Fine. Stop the film and kick them out. You aren't just prohibited
from yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. They wouldn't have made to the half at my sold out showing.

8. Let them do it...more publicity..
Freepers don't understand that controversy is good for movies.

9. I think the majority of the people who are purchasing...
..the DVD have already seen the movie and just wants to have a hard copy. Shit, that thing made millions and has already had an impact.
Let them waste their energy on something that will have no impact. Then when the DVD becomes a number one seller, let them whine, bitch and moan like they do at almost anything that they can't control.

11. Oh, it's so much better than that. You know there will be people
who end up buying just to see what it's about, thinking they can always sell it to the Freepers after they're done - a 100% money-back guarantee whether they learn something or not. It's brilliant, isn't it? He he.

18. its not the people who buy it, its a new audience of renters
Lots more people go to Blockbuster these days instead of the movies. F911 will have a whole new audience that might be larger this time.

15. The dumbasses never learn. Thank god.
Please, Freeps- go create a second F-911 controversy. The first one helped the film draw a huge audience.

Anyone who has actually seen it will have a hard time claiming stuff in it is made up.
