Beat Up, Crappy, Cheap Vehicles with * Stickers |
|
What do you think when you see someone who is obviously not raking in the dough sporting a * sticker on a cheap car? I see these types of people, they look like they're in the low/low-to-middle income ranges. They drive buckets of bolts, and yet... There's a * sticker on their car!
I have nothing against people who don't make much money, but I have to wonder what mindset drives this kind of person to support an administration that is out to screw them while helping rich people.
How stupid can you be? Poor is one thing. Poor and ignorant is another.

It's all about timing for Republicans. Pre-9 months you have tons of rights, post-9 months and they'd let you die in a gutter soon as look at you.

36. This rock is located on the Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, Canada |
|
It is a popular tourist attraction. It is called Perce Rock. It was foggy the day we were there and traipsing along the rocks at the shoreline was a little slippery. This is the best photo I took that day. At low tide, there is a sand bridge to the rock over which people walk to get close to it. There are also lots of other interesting cliff like rock formations on the shore. The quaint little town has lots of little boutique shops.

A doorless tan jeep with Bush '04 spray-painted over the entire side panel on each side.
There were several weapons, axes, machetes etc. mounted in the cab of the jeep.
Hanging from the rear bumper: a large rubber scrotum.

My girlfriend, who's from Texas, calls these people Frogtonians. Not sure why, but it seems to fit. They seem to be mass-produced, unless your brother has taken a trip out here lately.
I was going to whack the balls off, but saw the axe and then thought better.

all combine to make people vote agsindt their own (and veryone else's) interests.
The propagadists on their radio/TV tell them that the liberals are going to take away their guns and bibles, make them have abortions, ban red meat (like these poor bastards can afford it),let gays marry (think of the children!) and give special rights to illegal immigrants. Add in the myth that only Our Great Wartime President, George W. Bush, a plain spoken God-fearing man can protect them from "Terra" they would gladly work for minmum wage 60 hours a week with no overtime or benefits.

They won't vote with their pocket books or common sense, so fuck them. They'll be wondering how they're supposed to make it working 3 jobs with no benefits and their beat up car breaking down once a month. Good for them. If a kid is too stupid to take his hand off the hot stove, then he should get burned. Same for voters. I hope if Bush wins, he screws them again---harder, with no Vaseline this time. Fucking idiots...

I was walking home and I saw some crappy car that was in desperate need of a paint job. I saw the passenger and I had a feeling that she was a Repug. Lo and behold, there was a tiny "W in 04" sticker on the back. I have a crappy car too and I sport my Kerry/Edwards sticker so there is nothing wrong with having a crappy car but why would you support someone who doesn't give a flying fuck about you?

That's thebest way I can describe it. A lot of people here are sympathetic with their captors for some reason. I think too many of them are so doped up on OxyRush that they can't see the truth. They have the impression that the fat cats they work for deserve everything they can get their hands on including the worker's livelihood.
Oklahoma passed "right to work" a couple of years ago. I was dumbfounded by the way they lined up and walked into the voting booths and voted against their own best interests. We are paying for it now in a huge way.
