Seems to me that this whole thing is still up in the air. Don't tell me it's going to end with no definitive answer to their authenticity and no source. Did Burkette produce them or did he get them from a source?

What's up?

3. You couldn't pick one of the hundred or so threads on this
A new thread harping on this same old topic is just what is needed.

6. All the earmarks of a spy thriller
If they were forged it's gonna be a BIG story...although perhaps not important one way or the other for the election. But interesting none the less. If they are genuine (and I have seen nothing that actually proves them forgeries), it is also gonna be a BIG story. This is going to get interesting.

7. After 4 days, easy $3k to WH aide that says memos UNTRUE is unclaimed!
http://community.democrats.com/forums/discussions.cfm?forumid=170&topicid=136462

On 9/16, I offered a $1000 Reward (in the form of a personal contribution to the Republican National Committee) if Bush, Bartlett, or McClellan would simply state:

"George Bush believes the Killian memos are all UNTRUE, and the events described in the memos are all FALSE."

Today, I'm tripling that reward to $3000.

Why?

Because yesterday George Bush PERSONALLY dodged the question.

Bush on Air Guard duty:
'Let the truth come out'
By JOHN DiSTASO
Senior Political Reporter

In a telephone interview with The Union Leader yesterday, Bush would not say if he believed the key documents on which CBS based its report were forgeries. He did say, “There are a lot of questions about the documents and they need to be answered.” <snip>
