So Proud of My Husband! Telling off the Movers! |
|
Posted earlier we have a "right wing pigdog" (hubby's words) mover packing up our stuff and it wouldn't be so bad but he's just going on and on and on and finally I had to leave the room and come upstairs to work on my computer. My husband wanted a bowl of ice cream after lunch so he went downstairs a few moments ago.
I can hear my husband and him. Hubby is not political, he thinks I'm nuts for being so worked up over this election. He hates Baghdad Bush but he was never remotely interested in politics before we met.
Well the RWPD Mover is talking about poor Halliburton and how they just won't get off their backs. My husband said, "Well when the Vice President gets involved it's a big deal..." Then my husband started talking about their indictments for fraud...
The guy kept talking, but at one point I did hear him say to my husband's rebuttal, "You're right! You're 100% right..." Hubby just walked in here with his bowl of icecream with a wide eyed, 'Holy SHIT he's a nutjob!' look on his face.
I asked for a bite of his ice cream and he said, "But I worked hard to get this ice cream. I had to argue with him and everything."
I'm so proud of my man! :) He's a better debater than I am. I just can't stand dissent. Hubby just said, "It's just so rare that I find someone...." (I filled in, "That stupid?") he said, "No, ... someone so... needlessly vocal about their politics."
This move is great but I could do without the RWPD mouthpiece.

1. I would say fire the guy, but I know how hard that would be |
|
right in the middle of a move. Does he work for someone or for himself. I would report to his employer that you thought he was being inappropriate discussing politics.

4. Firing not an option, chat or note about it to employer is though... |
|
This is a bigshot corporate move (hubby has been working his butt off and thus got a promotion/relocation). We didn't even hire the company, his company did. And we're not paying them, his company is. But if they want feedback I shall give it...

that you'll be complaining to the moving company, assuing the RWPD-in-question isn't the owner of the company.

6. Don't complain until all your stuff has been inspected and into your |
|
house. Then you can let loose.

and when you tip him, tell him the tip would have been more if he had been more receptive to rational debate.

5. Don't you have some bricks you'd hate to leave behind? |
|
Put them in the dresser drawers. The mover won't mind, him being a RW "manly man"...

7. When it comes time to tip him |
|
Say, "I would give you a tip, but you must be one of those 2% have-more's who are enjoying their massive Bush tax cut. It's quite apparent you don't need a cash tip, so instead I'll give you a verbal tip. Bush doesn't give a rats ass about you, all he wants is your vote. Like every other Bush voter who always votes against his best interest, you just bend over and take it, over and over again. Now please, get out of my house."
