Democrat punched GOP leader, police say

GAINESVILLE - (AP) -- A Democrat was charged with punching a local Republican leader and a life-sized cardboard cutout of President Bush, police said.

David Philip McCally, 55, was charged with misdemeanor battery and criminal mischief for the Thursday night scuffle.

McCally, an instructor at Sante Fe Community College, was headed to a restaurant when he stopped inside the nearby GOP headquarters and punched the presidential cutout.

Now, I know it's not right to go around hitting people. But you just KNOW that democrats don't go around punching republicans without provocation. I wonder what the repuke did to deserve it?

3. Republican Party policies are far more violent

Resulting the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world, including over 1100 US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'd be pretty outraged about that too. This guy Horn brought it on himself.
