That came up when I was doing a search for Howard Dean news on about page three of the list of news articles found. I'd do a screen shot, but I don't know how to do one.

3. I don't think you can link to search results

Just enter the DU article in the Google News search engine. It should come up.

4. I sort of misunderstood.

I just found out that, unlike Yahoo!, Google links directly to the source of the article. Thus, if you click the top link to the search provided below, you'll end up right back here.

5. I noticed DU articles and discussions coming up in Google

news searches a couple of weeks ago. They must have added DU to the sites they index for news. I think there was mention of it at the time IIRC. Good news.
