Al-Jazeera airs video it says shows U.S., British hostages

Also Saturday, the Arabic-language television network Al-Jazeera aired a video that it said showed two Americans and a Briton whom captors seized two days ago in Baghdad.

The network said the Jihad and Unification group threatened to kill the hostages if female Iraqi prisoners are not released.

With an armed man standing behind them, three men were shown blindfolded and seated as they addressed the camera.

the country of my birth behaving like a fucking coward. Using women as bait? Carpet bombing civilians from the air? Sodomizing children in front of their parents? 'Shock and Awe'??? I can't remember when I've seen such a display of cowardice by a government. Revolting, but not surprising coming from Republicans. They're bullies when the odds are in their favor, but fucking chickenshit cowards when they're outnumbered or outgunned.
