he already had the authority to invade Iraq. It was only after daddy's mafia objected that he went to congress and the un. As Perle said WMD's was just a selling point. Iwr was just a political maneuver. We now know from Clarke and O'Neil that Iraq was always the first goal. The well intended protests,etc. could not change anything. They did it because they could. Now they have a huge mess. Had they done things right the election would already be over.
