Interesting ...What do we do IF we not have registered Dems in the future? |

I passed a few young kids in front of King Soopers whom were do voter registration....many are registering....BUT most as Independents....How do hold a fair primary if our dem base keeps getting smaller?

Remind people that they're shut out of the primary process if they don't register with a party.
However, if you are a member of a party, when you nominate your candidate, you should keep in mind that you're trying to find a candidate who can win some votes among the 1/3rd who are independent (in addition to some Repubs).

People need to know that they can vote even if they arent ready to support a party. I think it is very counterproductive, people who arent ready to declare a view will be scared away.
