What Republican Rep. Chris Cox does and doesn't want to investigate.
California Rep. Chris Cox wants an investigation into documents (real? fake?) obtained by CBS News showing George W. Bush disobeyed a direct order to take a physcial over 30 years ago.

As far as I know, Rep. Chris Cox hasn't called an investigation into:

* The US bombing of a wedding party in Iraq near the Syrian border which killed musicians and children.

* The US helicopter which killed a television journalist on Sunday, along with 12 other people

* The US bombing of an ambulance in Fallujah on Monday, which killed the driver, a paramedic, and five patients

here ya go:

REPORTER'S 2ND SUBPOENA IN C.I.A. CASE A Time magazine reporter, Matthew Cooper, was subpoenaed Tuesday for a second time in an inquiry into the disclosure of the identity of Valerie Plame, a covert C.I.A. officer. After Mr. Cooper was ordered jailed last month for failing to name his sources, he gave testimony limited to his contacts with I. Lewis Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, and the court withdrew its order. Time said Mr. Cooper testified with Mr. Libby's consent. The new subpoena apparently concerns information from other officials. Yesterday a Washington Post reporter, Walter Pincus, also testified. Mr. Pincus said he would not identify an official who discussed Ms. Plame's identity with him in July 2003, but agreed to recount the substance of his conversation with the official.

3. Makes me ashamed to have him as my congressman :(
Edited on Wed Sep-15-04 11:10 PM by AlFrankenFan
Well, even more so. He hasn't even answered any of my letters regarding other issues with a generic reply. He's such an ass. I hate to say it but my district, the 48th, deserves better. But the dem who runs against him every election could care less.

Edit: Hey Eric, it's another reason for me to move to MN ;-)

5. Who outed Valerie Plame.
What role extra-governmental organizations may have had in the decision to invade Iraq - like PNAC, Halliburton, Bechtel etc etc
