Do you know anybody who was affected by new OT law?
This OT stuff has disappeared from the news, but I was reminded of it by Kennedy's speech in the Senate this morning, where he slammed Congress for voting it's self 8 raises since the last increase in the min. wage, and enacted the new OT laws even after the National Restaurant Assoc. begged then not to do so.

Have you, or anyone you know lost their OT due to this new law?

2. Hmmm. That's a possibility. They know if they do it now, shrub
would loose just because there would be so much vocal griping by everyone who was directly affected.

3. My brother but his boss has not decided what he is going to do.
It is a small business and my brother basically runs the entire office. Because he supervises the other employees and runs the day to day operations he could be removed from OT. (He usually works 45-50 hours a week.) His boss told him this but is still paying OT right now. MY brother has told him the day he stops OT is the day his 2 weeks notice starts. We'll see how it goes...
