then I went to a couple of other threads and they were also changed.

I don't even USE an avatar, and my post in the Lounge has one.

could it be cause I was there and then came here that it did that? I have no idea how it could do that, but that's a weird coincidence.

I'm thinking it's 99% certain Atrios is trying to drive the point home that Bush is a two-faced Flip Flopper-in-Chief. He's sick of Kerry having the flip-flopper label, and rightfully so.

He started using the two-faced graphic earlier today. I'm guessing he thought this would be a little more attention-grabbing. And I'm also thinking the DU management also changed the avatars here in order to make the same point.
