1. Liberal
Based on your answers, you are most likely a liberal. Read below to learn more about each foreign policy perspective.

Liberals…

Are wary of American arrogance and hypocrisy
Trace much of today's anti-American hatred to previous US foreign policies.
Believe political solutions are inherently superior to military solutions
Believe the US is morally bound to intervene in humanitarian crises
Oppose American imperialism
Support international law, alliances, and agreements
Encourage US participation in the UN
Believe US economic policies must help lift up the world's poor
Historical liberal: President Woodrow Wilson

Modern liberal: President Jimmy Carter

Isolationist... though I take issue with the contention that I'm wary of the UN. I'm not.

I have to take exception to these as well:
  • Oppose international law, alliances, and agreements
  • Oppose liberal immigration
  • Desire to preserve what they see as America's national identity and character

They derived too many conclusions from that short quiz.

    7. Realist, but would add a defining coda:
Modern realists don't trust anyone in shrubland but are also 100% confident that bush sr/cheney will be busted and tried for treason. Everything since Bush jr v Gore 2000 has been a carefully orchestrated bush sr gamble. Just love it when they get so confident!

    10. Hmmm. . . most questions had me torn between two answers

so after choosing the "best" answers and finding out I was a Liberal (what a surprise!), I went back and re-took the test, choosing the "second-best" answers, and found I was. . . still a Liberal. Seems a bit strange to me.

    15. I liked the answers
Normally when I see quizzes like that they are either so right wing slanted

    1. Which best describes your feelings?
A: George W Bush is the best president ever
    B: I hate America

    or so left-wing slanted

    1. Which best describes your feelings?
A: It is always okay for a president to lie to the American people in order to scrounge up support to start a war on someone
    B: It is not okay

    that it just gets stupid.

That quiz had a good summary of a variety of different stances on foreign policy issues (actual arguments instead of blatant straw men).
