Do you find the depth of information overwhelming, a burden but |
|
with the goal in sight? As a child I read alot, in one book the publisher put at the bottom of each book this saying: " In reading lies knowledge, In knowledge lies wisdom, In wisdom lies power" I've tried to live by this concept and find it comforting

1. yes, so much so that it hurtrs |

theres so much information and so many tentacles going in different directions. Being able to wrap ones mind around it all is very overwhelming at times. And trying to articulate and pass on that knowledge to others is even more painful at times.

3. Right. I find myself cutting to the chase |
|
but that's not how *I* got to the understandings I have of what's going on, it was a slow effort that took many, many months. Further, I had the benefit of years of cynicism PLUS the understanding that Bush did, indeed, steal the 2000 election (with a little help from his friends), and never liked or trusted his dad either -- well who would, given Iran-Contra?
IOW, I was receptive to leaerning about other dirty dealings. Most regular people who don't pay a lot of intention to politics have a "belief in benevolence" regarding our highest offices.
