Lately it seems as though we've been ... |
|
... set-up with our candidate, as planned from months ago.
It sure makes me wonder if there was a conspiracy to assure either Clark or Dean never made it this far in the race and was the plan from the pugs all along.

running for President. I love Dean and Clark, I also love that they are putting their love for their country ahead of their own personal aspirations.
One of my favorite things that Kerry has done, is take the most promising platforms of the 9 dems that ran and made them his own.
We were so lucky to have those wonderful men and Carolyn on our side.
Don't worry about Kerry, his is more than up to the challange.

4. You're drinking THEIR Kool-aid. |

I would have preferred Clark or Dean myself, but I am perfectly happy with Kerry. I've admired him for many years.
ANY candidate would be slimed this way. Dean, for his slightly odd posture and sometimes embarrrassing off-the-cuff remarks, Clark for his total lack of experience in politics...(in fact, I believe Clark would've been totally eviscerated. He's a very nice man, and I don't think he'd be at all prepared for the tidal wave of mud that would have hit him. They would dig up his transvestite cousin, the former crewmates claiming Clark was a snake or a liar. I'm sure that asshole that ran swiftboat liars would ave found a way to do the same to Clark.

5. The RW smear machine would have tarnished Clark or Dean even more |
|
The RW has succeeded in diminishing Kerry's exemplary military record but Clark was just as vulnerable to attacks in that area and just as vulnerable to being labeled a a 'flip-flopper'. And Dean would have been made an object of ridicule in the media, even worse than Al Gore or John Kerry because he has had so many off the cuff spontaneous remarks that could be used against him to portray him as a loose cannon.
I love Clark and Dean for their Iraq stance and outspoken directness and absolute support they have provided for Kerry, but Kerry and Edwards have done a great job in staying calm and steady and consistent, avoiding most of the RW and media traps. I believe Clark and Dean would have faced even more devastating RW attacks and unfair media coverage than Kerry and Edwards.
If Kerry and Edwards can't win, I doubt any other candidates could win either against the power of Bushco and the RW media bias.

7. Its not the smear that counts...It's the RESPONSE that matters |
|
THAT is the problem. Instead of a candidate whining and being defensive an aggressive candidate goes on a major offensive, takes the gloves off and goes OFFENSIVE....7 minute goat book ads, horrors of Iraq...ad using film clips of Smirk telling billionairs that they are his base....ALL OF THE AMMUNITION in the arsenal....NOT some mamby pamby nicey nice shit.
Houston, we have a problem, and its our candidate and his campaign staff.
Anyone who doesn't see this is blind or delusional

Dean & Clark are fine gentlemen. I hope they can have roles in the Kerry administration. If my wish had come true, Gore would be running again. But I'll be glad to vote for Kerry.
Any Democrat nominated would have to fight dirty campaigning & largely hostile media.

BOO!
How many voters did you register yesterday? I did 4 in my neighborhood, and even got one to put up a Kerry/Edwards sign.

it may be possible that John Kerry is a "deep cover" republican operative who Bush will name to head the Department of National Conspiracy, it doesn't seem likely, does it?
Kerry is going to beat Bush in November. And, yes, it is part of the "bigger plan" that has been in place for months. It started in the primary season, and included the democratic convention. It will include the debate tonight.
Dean and Clark are part of the "bigger plan." And so aren't we.
