Bush didnt have time to finish guard duty
How the fuck dare he!!! I bet the over 40,00 men that died in vietnam would like to have "inadequate time". I bet the reservist and gaurd in iraq would like to have "inadequate time".What an evil bastard.

By Adam Entous

MIAMI (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites), accused by Democrats of shirking his duty in the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam War, wrote that he had "inadequate time" to meet future Reserve commitments in his Nov. 1974 letter of resignation released on Wednesday.

The letter was released by the White House on the eve of the first presidential debate, in Miami on Thursday, between Bush and his Democratic challenger, John Kerry (news - web sites), a decorated Vietnam veteran.

In the one-page "Tender of Resignation," Bush hand-wrote the following reason for resigning: "Inadequate time to fullfill (sic) possible future commitments."

2. And he says he didn't get special treatment. Anyone else who tried
that would have found his ass in Viet Nam so fast he wouldn't have been able to remember the trip over there.

If they think this is a legitimate excuse, I want proof that someone else got out of fulfilling their duty by 'resigning' as well.

What a crock of shit. It would be funny except for the deaths of 50 some thousand others that had to die in that war.

4. From now on, any document released pertaining to Bush's TANG service
should be scrutinized for forgery. Was it written on a word processor? Was it typed by a typewriter from that era? Was the document tampered?

The piecemeal release of Bush's so-called documents from the White House and the timing of those releases are nothing short of suspicious.

7. Boy that guy's lucky George Bush wasn't president, with stop-loss and all
he never would have been able to get out of guard duty. . . . oh wait.

This should righteously piss off some of the military voters.

He quit because he didn't have time, while people were still getting theirr asses shot off.
