Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 10:04 AM by blm
Would you trade George W. Bush for a president who READ the Hart-Rudman Report on Global Terror when it was handed to him on Jan.30,2001, and then worked to enact its urgent proposals for Homeland Security?

2. That's a great question
Really, I dont even think this whole thing should be close, like compare and contrast Kerry and Bush, it's like apples and peppers.

3. I've got one too....
At the RNC, you claimed that the FIRST thing you thought on seeing the tragedy at the WTC was: "Thank God GWB is our President"...

yet, in the HBO documentary, taped a year after the event, which featured extensive interviews about that day, GWB is NEVER mentioned by you...

Did it take three years to remember what you thinking that morning?

Or, are you just another crackwhore for the bush campaign?

5. I re-watched it on the anniversary...
partially because I couldn't stand the chimp-loving coverage.

I had really forgotten how much is focused on Guiliani. so, I stayed with it paying extra attention to everything Rudy said. and, the film is MOSTLY about him and his actions throughout that morning.

in neither the 'live' clips taken that morning nor the post-event interviews was * mentioned even once.

I *think* the movie is available commercially.

6. I'm STILL puking from when Giuliani said that he looked up
at the towers burning, and people plunging to horrible deaths and thought "Thank God George Bush is President".

Any warm fuzzies I had left over for him from his (admittedly) excellent immediate response to 9/11 have just disappeared over the far horizon.

14. I will never, ever forgive him for exploiting those deaths
for USING the deaths of those people who jumped from the towers rather than burn alive, I will NEVER forgive him for USING their deaths in the name of George Bush who has their blood on his hands. Giuliani is the lowest of the low. And I used to defend him for his actions on that day. Never again. He should be ashamed. He should be run out of town. He had better not dare walk the streets of New York. I will spit in his face.

8. Rudy Giuliani was on "The Apprentice" last night.
Meeting him was part of the "prize" that the winning team got. He gave them a tour of his office and on his desk was a plaque that said, "I AM RESPONSIBLE", or something like that. I couldn't help but wonder how someone who values taking responsibility could throw his support behind the jackass in the White House currently not taking responsibility for any fucking thing.

11. I'm sure there are a few 9-11 widows who would like to hang a sign around
Rudy's NECK that reads "I am responsible." Responsible for propping up the one guy who tried to STOP the 9-11 investigation, George W. Bush.

9. "Were you and Bernie Kerik in Iraq when the prison torture was happening?"
because some of that had all the earmarks of the NYPD under Bernie and he and Guiliani have a security company that did work in iraq.

10. Yeah. They "trained" the Iraqi police force and then hightailed it out of
there as soon as it got too hot.

Mr Giuliani,

How did it feel to exploit 9/11 during the Republican convention?
