Chris Matthews and Andrea Mitchell are F**king Swine |
|
And even Ron Reagan, who penned one of the best indictments of the Bush administration I have ever had the pleasure of reading, showed where his true loyalty lies: to his MSGOP paycheck. What a disappointment.
Edwards exposed Darth Hallibuton tonight, but the Hardball whores received the directive from on high:
"Give this one to Cheney."
Out-fucking-rageous.

I don't remember his exact words, because I was in a blind rage from Matthews and Andrea Mitchell's gushing over Cheney's "victory."

4. I don't know about that |

I saw Matthews really rip into a GOP spinner over whether or not Iraq was connected to 9/11. The guy said it was, and then Matthews totally stopped him and said he was wrong, then FORCED the guy to agree.
Then, he laid into a little GOP debater kid when the kid tried to say the same thing. Matthews set them straight.
I certainly think Matthews sometimes lets people get away with lies, but more often than not I think that's just due to him not being very informed or bright. When he knows for sure that something is or isn't true he tends to lay into people.
I can't speak to Mitchell, though. Don't pay much attention to her.

It is their MO. Too bad they don't do any research anymore. If they did, then they'd know that what Edwards claimed can be backed by facts. Cheney's vision of the Iraqi democracy that's going to come with the elections in January is pure BS. Any thinking person who looks their facts up knows that.

Just because they have to stay objective, that doesn't mean they are swine. If you want to disagree thats cool, but save the hog-calling for the likes of Hannity and Rush.
Matthews is a good guy, he just calls the shots as he sees them.
I thought it was a tie and I'm a huge Kerry supporter, I can see someone whos trying to stay unbiased calling it for Cheney.
I'm not a fan of Cheney but I'm not going to blow smoke up the asses of our own either.

Oh my mistake.
Let me clarify...
Edwards completely destroyed Cheney, left him stammering in a pile of his own feces! It was a complete knockout for the Democrats tonight. I really think this debate solidified things for Kerry and Edwards!
Ninja please, the guy is a complete asshole but Cheney held his own tonight and if you can't see that you're as blind as the freepers who were claiming Bush won last Thursday.
My roomate and I who are both strongly in support of Kerry thought that Cheney came off as very strong during the entire debate.
I want nothing more than to see Kerry get elected in November, but I'm not going to watch our boy hit a double and call it a homerun just because that's what I wanted it to be.
There's a reason that Kerry is on the top of the ticket and we saw a bit of that tonight.
P.S. As far as objectivity goes, I was referring to Matthews only.
P.P.S. For the person who insinuated that I was a freeper troll, please eat a fat one.

I watched the debate on CSPAN 2 (split screen throughout entire debate) and then switched to MANBC in time to hear Ms Mitchel say that Edwards did not cover a particular subject that I distinctly heard Edwards cover (I forgot what the issue was). I knew I heard enough here and switched to CNN. Greenfield gave the best line when he declared that spinners should be banned. I stopped watching when Larry King came on with the partisan talking heads. Too much to stomach from both sides. Edwards did win by a slight margin which is a good victory after all is said and done.

Unfortunately, we also decided to watch MSNBC for our VP debate coverage. That's the last time I make that mistake. I figured that, since they were so admissive of Kerry's overwhelming win during the first debate, that they would be even-handed about discussing the outcome of tonight's.
Instead, all I saw was an aggregation of hacks who did little to hide the fact that they'd been perched, waiting to swoop down and claim GOP victory if this debate wasn't as much of a homerun for the liberals as Kerry vs. Bush was.
Apparently, to Matthews, if a liberal doesn't decisively crush his opponent in debate, that liberal has been "steamrolled" over.
The sentiment, while we were watching the post-debate analysis, was, "What the hell? Were they watching the same debate we were watching?"
MSNBC will not have the opportunity to broadcast openly biased, droolingly pro-Bush nonsense masquerading as fair-minded journalism, on my TV anymore.

Did you notice Matthews and Scarborough giggling and laughing like school girls. The two of them needed to get a room and cuddle up together dreaming of a republican victory.
Those two sat together and fidgeted their way through Thursday and grudgingly admitted that Kerry won while saying, "I wonder if his win will hold up over the next couple of days. Remember Gore was considered the winner right after the first debate." Then Scarborough had the balls to say well I am being fair because I did say Kerry won the debate... therefore believe me. Unreal!!! Like he could have claimed that W. won and still had any claim to being fair.
I emailed the show (not like it matters). Only program worth watching on the whole network is Countdown.
