How do they do it?
Let's see...the jobs forcast was for about 295,000 new jobs, the number is actually (pre revision) 96,000...and the RW spinmiesters sit there and tell us what a great number this is. LOL.

How do they do it with a completely straight face?

The chimp is going down.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning...

3. The Jobs Number is Big, Big, Big
This was Bush's last chance to go into the election with a positive economic message.

It's hard to put into a sound bite, but what makes it worse is that there's ENORMOUS stimulus from the federal deficit and low interest rates. The economy should be overheating with this kind stimulus. If 96,000 new jobs are the result, it's pretty pathetic.

5. Don't you see? He created jobs!
If Bush came over and drained your bathtub, then sprinkled some water into it, he'd say "We are filling the tub!"

With Bush, everything is looking up, for there is no further we can fall.
