Was Bush's flight-suit for "Mission Accomplished" rented?
Or did they buy it so they could give it to The Smithsonian?

2. "they" didn't buy it
We bought it.

But it's okay because he's going to get plenty of use out of it. For instance, that's what he's going to wear trick or treating this year.

4. Since * is Afraid of Flying
it would have been more appropriate if he had stuck the potato in the BACK of the flight suit.

7. Just wondering
Did anyone happen to see online or television photos or video of * climbing into the aircraft and following it to takeoff, or of the aircraft landing, taxiing around and * getting out? Or for that matter, any video of him in the air, either using a cockpit camera like the Blue Angels use when they give local media rides, or waving at a chase plane?

Since * is afraid of flying, my bet is he helicoptered out with his staff and put his costume on there so he could make his grand appearance from behind the airplane. It could be done; the camera angles were more restricted than those at a David Copperfield magic show.

If he did make the flight, I wonder if his bag of vomit and brown-stained underwear will be displayed in the Smithsonian...
