Why are we still killing Iraqis????? |
|
There were no WMDs. Saddam was not a threat. There were no Ties to Al Qaeda. the people being killed today are just plain Iraqi people. Why? Why? WHY? What possible justification is there? everything they told us to start this war turned out to not be true. Why are we still killing?

Particularly the US policy to retain gunmen in Iraq, and kill Iraqis.

by eliminating the opposition.
The people still living in areas that are "insurgent strongholds" might vote against Alawi.

I want it to stop now. The longer this goes on, the worse the U.S. looks in the eyes of the world and we are building up hate like we have never seen before. If we elect this bozo again we will be saying to the world we agree with what he is doing.

6. because the war was always about war-profiteering |
|
not about US security. And everybody in the world except evidently the US Congress and US citizens knew it. The war was always illegal, always naked aggression, always about profit. Why else was one of the first acts of the occupation to repress unions, why else no contracts given to Iraqis, why else the oil ministry and not the museums protected? Why else were we unwilling to count how many of those we were supposedly liberating we killed? Why else call infants "insurgents?"

9. Because They're In There Surging Against Us |
|
Isn't that what an insurgent is? Someone who is in some place surging against you?
There is no rational reason what so ever for us to be there at all except it is to put in place military instillations of such size and force as to make us the most powerful standing army in the region. It is not about Iraq's oil, it is control over the oil of the entire region that is the aim and if gaining it serves to protect Israel at the same time so much the better because it takes a block who would not normally offer support and almost forces their positive vote. If someone can give me another rational for war with Iraq I'd sure like to hear it.

13. They didn't display the proper gratitude for our illegal invasion of their |
|
country and the 10-15 thousand innocent people we butchered in the "Shocking and Awful" bombing campaign.
Plus, they're trying to defend the oil we want to steal.
Plus, they are brown-skinned non-Christians, and we know how Georgie boy's base LOOOOOOOVES to kill non-whites.
Plus, they had to temerity to actually FIGHT BACK when we occupied their country as a result of a pack of lies.
Does that answer your question?

The US declared war on the Iraqi people because the Iraqi people flew planes into our buildings?
Funny, I don't recall the US declaring war on the Iraqi people... must be a mistake, eh?
Bring our troops home. Now.
