1. Not at all
Forrest Gump was a good, well-meaning person.

Bush is not.

Also, Forrest Gump served his country honorably.

Bush did not.

2. Gump may have been stupid,
but it'd be an insult to put Bush next to Gump. Gump had more character.

3. Please don't slander the innocent and good Forrest ...
... by even including him in the same sentence. Forrest demonstrated the difference between innocence and wisdom ... in doing the 'right thing' instead of the 'best thing.' Untainted by eating of the Tree of Knowledge (of Good and Evil), he was guided by his conscience. A mythic Innocent in the Garden of Good and Evil.

5. Forrest represents the "good" in people, Dubya the "evil" in people.
QUOTE

Forrest Gump : Will you marry me?
(Jenny turns and looks at him)
Forrest Gump : I'd make a good husband, Jenny.
Jenny Curran : You would, Forrest.
Forrest Gump : But you won't marry me.
Jenny Curran : You don't wanna marry me.
Forrest Gump : Why don't you love me, Jenny? I'm not a smart man, but I know what love is.

UNQUOTE

Bush understands hate, not love!

6. Let's just say that W is the only
President in the history of our country to be graded
on the bell curve.
